Just watched the first Sky F1 show - pretty impressive stuff. Can’t wait until Friday and the start of the season :smiley:

Can’t see hw the BBC can compete with the coverage to be honest

I agree but frankly there were too many ‘crotch’ shots :sick:

They need a bigger table in the studio.

I wouldn’t. She’s the annoying element; Sky’s Eddie Jordon, except he knows something. Jenson didn’t know what to make of her. Leigh McKensie is a brilliant journalist and scored some of last seasons biggest scoops, Georgie is half the women in both size and ability.

im no georgie fan. anything linked to ant and dec, surely isnt a good thing…presenting f1 and she’s banned from driving…how funny…

i do have a soft spot for that leigh mac tho, i think its a breast thing, or the way she holds the mic, im not too sure…

Yeah I think the channel is great. Sky have certainly spent some money!!!

I have no doubt that SKY will do a great job with their coverage and for those who are dedicated to F1 I’m sure that you will get a lot of what you want out of it.

However, I can see this channel going the same way as 24hr news. Repeats and lots of boring stuff. I didn’t actually make it to the end of the opening show (which was shown on Pick TV on Sunday) as it simply wasn’t specialist enough to hold my attention. Clearly they have been given good access but the truth is that the teams are never going to really open up to TV in the same way that, say, a football club can. Maybe it will expand into a proper motor racing channel with coverage of lots of different types of motor sport. Now that might get me to join up.

Live coverage on RTL this morning was very good and free. Not HD, of course. How was the live coverage on Sky??
