Thought i would get some definative prices for the various AP disks on offer:
CP3047-276/7 (285mm) 221 + vat each
CP5000-510/1 (295mm) 114 + vat each
CP3124-894/5 (295mm) 143 + vat each
CP3580-2894/5 (295mm) 197 + vat each
No idea why the smaller size disks are so expensive?? Would like to know what make of disks Plans are using on their road/track day setup as they seem to be considerably cheaper than all of those listed above

The 285mm is not a std size, their std sizes in that range are 280mm and 295mm. So they propably charge a a huge premium on them. Might be better to sacrifice 2mm and go for 280mm good quality discs or upgrade to 295. No use in going to something that is not std.
The 5000 series ar AP’s road range and are designed as an upgrade for road use, not that there is anything wrong with that, they just won’t last as long on the track, or with very aggressive pads.
The 3580 has a 14mm air gap ( and thus thinner wall section on the rotor ) which means less weight right
So compared to the 5000… they are not the same casting, not the same design, and not the same material but other than that yes they are identical …
agreed Andy but…
It was the 3124 i was wondering about - same no. of vanes and supposed to be same material, i guess the casting may deliver thinner vanes but i guess i’m challenging if they are the same material as their cheaper 5000 equivalent…
