Horribly quiet on here. Northern Chapter heading for Dalemain Classic Car Show on Sunday. Pics to follow, hopefully.
Sunshine and showers predicted. Pre-event car wash likely. New cambelt and C service completed . . . Soon be eight years together. Still lovin’ it. European Tour with Nyloc to come . . .
Any (sensible) advice for a trans-European trip and please do not say: Don’t risk it!
Only positive responses required, thank you.
Lucky git doing the European Tour. I say go for it, what’s the worst that can happen? You break down and have to be recovered. Well worth the risk for the reward of being out in Europe.
We will get up to a Northern Chapter meet at some point…
Enjoy the European jaunt, just get the best breakdown cover possible and take a note of any local specialists on your route. Most stuff can be fixed especially with eliseparts or eliseshop overnight couriering parts to you.
Week off for me so a chance to work on my build. Bulkhead cleaned and obligatory gold bling applied. Struggling to get a cage at the moment 2-3weeks lead time, which is stalling stuff. 211 wishbones going on. Might pull the engine from the civic tomorrow? Lots of little things done.
Nothing mad exciting. I’m gonna try some different dampers because…well I fancy trying some different dampers. Then just maintenance stuff; brake-rotors, pads etc etc.
