Shift Lights

Has anyone ever successfully fitted a set of shift lights to a standard Stack dash? I was thinking of fitting an Aces Sureshift set of LEDs as are fitted to Caterham R3/4/500s (previously owned an R400 and they were really worthwhile). It would appear to be very straight forward but it depends upn the nature/strength of signal to the Tacho … Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks Pesky. They look even better than the Aces lights and are less than half the price! Consider them ordered. Thank you for the immediate help!

I have got the Shift-i fitted in my car and it is a top piece of kit at a very reasonable price

Ive got one of these fitted from Digital Race Electronics Sequential Shift Light System and am very pleased with it - good value for money and very easy to fit.

Was easy, just cliped on to wires behind the Stack. Do a search on here there should be some details.

I like mine but I’d probably do Pesky’s if I was doing it again, they’re sexier.

Hi Mark,

Just reading throught the fitting instructions on their web site. Helpfully provided by Bob C and your good self.

Which wire on the coil pack are you splicing into? The red or the black? I know that it is the red/black from the unit that needs to be spliced in. Does it need to be plug one?

Also wondered if you knew what the voltage on the wire is as I’m potentially going to connect it to a datalogger as well?

Cheers
Will.

I have one as standard in my 340r, can you not just use the one out of that and put it in the Exige STACK unit?

You get ‘one’ as standard on the S2 as well. But I’m greedy and would like seven like the shift-i

Hi Will. Doesn’t need to be plug 1 - you could use any of them I think. It is the red/black wire on plug one, but a different colour for the other plugs. Dunno the voltage I am afraid. If you pm me your email I can send you a jpg of the relevant wiring diagram if that helps.

Cheers Mark, PM sent.
