Put simply, yes!
Another possible issue - noted in Seloc Techwiki - is that Nylatron is too hard to take up any small misalignments in the pivots, unlike softer OE bushes or spherical bearings. This can also lead to the bushes binding in use.
Axial drilling would reduce this by introducing more compliance, but seems pointless as it would be far simpler to just use a softer bush material in the first place!
