Seems i'm cursed today

Woke up this morning is a good mood, it went downhill quickly the car started but was a little sluggish turning over “the cold killing the battery probably”, went to put petrol in to find my fuel cap frozen not allowing my key to go in “still calm at this point, so didnt try force” left the fuel and drove to work, just indicating into work and seems I blew a bulb, as my indicator was flashing double time “front right oval indicator bulb which I got to source now and figure how to fit dont want to buy the wrong type lol” finally sat down in work to a cuppa to have my phone ring and my wife tell me the pc isnt turning on after it went bang!

I’m seriously thinking of going home, back to bed and see what tomorrow brings and cancel today.

oh dear sounds like a bad day already and your not even at lunchtime yet.

front bulbs not prob, get a long screwdriver there is a small hole underneath the bulb in the mouth (vent) of the car in each corner, push and pull towards you. and whole len will pop out. if i remember correctly should be a 5 oclock pin on the indictors.

hope your luck changes least you have a gorgous car

Try a little silicon gease in the fuel cap/door locks. I have done this and they have never frozen since. Mine was cranking slowly this morning, -2 deg does not help. I just hope the oil gets around to the top end quick enough!

Hope your day gets better.

FBii

I hate days like this :frowning:

Yeah been reading up on how to replace the bulb, hopefully i shouldnt make a pigs ear of it.

But my bad luck continues to run, having to repair a software and registry fix a collegue did yesterday on just over 100 machines, sadly it has to be done manually on each machine :frowning: he’s lucky he’s offsite today

Is it friday yet?!?!?!

bet collegue took the day off lol, unfortunality its not friday yet, how i wish it was, be nice to work 2 days and have 5 days off and be paid the same wage obvouisly

He will get some crappy jobs tomorrow thats for sure, initially was worried that it was a job that required the front clam to come off, if its just a case of gently pushing the clips out to release and swap the bulb Ill be happy

Not sure if its good or bad, but driving home the right indicator is now working, so rather than a simple bulb problem, it could be a relay effected by the cold, or I could be talking rubbish lol

Well… my turn…

Some TOSSER has run a shopping trolley at speed into the side of my trusty Volvo and left me a HUGE dent and scratched paint!

VERY pissed off.

:frowning: well pc problem cured i’ve lost 1tb’s of data off a failed hd lucky most is backed up.

Does the store have cctv of your car being damaged? If they have it, i’m sure under the information of freedom act you can request it, but depends on how much hassle u want to go through
