As I’m not going to Dijon for the LOT Races, I’m now hoping to attend Marc Osmond’s charity do in Cheltenham on Saturday. The following day is pencilled to watch some fantastic racing cars at the annual VSCC Event, organised by our very own 83man http://www.donington-park.co.uk/events?event=233
If you’ve not been to an historic race meeting before, give it a go, they really are superb! 
Plenty of info HERE and HERE if you are interested. Marvelous historic suff on both days but slightly ‘newer’ on Saturday including 1960s touring cars full of Lotus Cortina, Alfas and the like and 70’s endurance cars. Mainly Pre-war on Sunday.
THIS IS POSITIVELY THE LAST RACE MEETING (or any sort of track action for that matter)ON THE CURRENT DONINGTON CIRCUIT.

Apparently there was a bomb scare in Paris that prevented the tape from being deliverd in time (you simply ca’t bget good bomb disposal operators these days!). I gather the show went out at 4 o’clock today (missed that!) and that it will go out at various times this week and on Sunday 1 Nov.
