Good site some nice stuff on there.
Yep they’ve even got one of those shitbox Mercs that Jonny likes
That is nice, that white 635 on a POA is bloody nice too.

I used to have a 135i and i loved it. The only problem with it and the reason I got rid of it was the lack of rear leg room. It just wasnt a practical family car in my opinion.
It went well, stopped well and handled great though.
Seriously tempted by the 135i as I dont yet have kids so the rear seats wouldnt get used much tbh. Will have to raid some more piggy banks
I guess the way around the legroom problem would be to get a 335i but its just another 3 series
Cheers all for the suggestions.
E46 M3
Great allrounder. Just sold my 2004 convertable one last night as I did less than 1000miles in it in over a year…
But it was a lovely car. SMG box makes it practical for traffic jams as well as being fun when you want as well.
Early ones under 10k now. They will do 30mpg on a run…
If you wanna blow the budget… I have a well run in and enjoyed and CHEAP 996 Turbo for sale.
Its had grillions spent on it by SeanB and then me.
So its a 2 lady owner car
it will do 30mpg on a cruise and goes like skint… I mean a really FAST CAR.
Awesome car, very very fast. Modded by DMS not long after I had it.
GT2 brakes, KW suspension, 550bhp DMS remap, DMS exhaust
In short, all good!
All Porkie did was put horrible wheels on it!! Thankfully he saw the light and put the standard ones back on!
I’d definitely look for one of the late 2L Renault Clio “cup” things with the fancy sachs dampers. Over engined, practical and huge fun apparently!
Seriously tempted by an E46 M3, didnt know they did a CS version which would be perfect. Any known pitfalls I should be aware of before I go and test drive some?
Infact, an M3 is kinda like the ownership of an Alfa, kinda needs to be done at some point.
Cheers chaps
My dad had an E46 M3 for five and a half years and loved it. They’re quick with bags of grip. He had suspension problems latterly with his so I’d double-check it sits correctly and you have confidence in the rear end particularly. He had problems with broken springs - a known issue as my mum’s 330i suffered the same fate. If you can find a well cared-for CS, you’ll absolutely love it!
Get this… Ferrari A certain Mr Atkinson has just bought one, pretty cool!
Edit…seems like the website is not showing what I’ve just a seen so for under 10k a Lancia Thema 8.32
Went for a 135i in the end. Pretty quick to be fair and saw an indicated 40+mpg at 80 too so best of both worlds
Dont seem to see too many of the 1 series coupes around which is a bonus, the fact most would assume its a 120d should be a laugh too
Pick it up friday as a few stone chips etc needed sorting.
I’d get a 118d badge for it
Try an E46 M3 they are about for this money
Yo-yo’d from 135i to E46 M3 so many times before settling on the 135i. It seems the better all rounder to me, newer, less miles, more power potential(around 380bhp remap), better mpg.
Oh and its not too big for the Mrs to drive
Got a Golf R 32 and love it. My wife likes it (v. important)and she averages over 30 mpg although I soon change that. Good in winter with the part time FWD.
How about a Lotus Sunbeam, getting rear now, prices on the up. 10K would get an imaculate example. 30 mog would be a bit of a pipe dream, but classis insurance and an apreciating residual value would of set this.
Had my first drive to work in the 135i (200 miles) 35 ish mpg at 85-90 and effortless overtaking grunt.
So far so good and its still in standard trim! Its certainly not anywhere near as quick as the lotus but I think it would surprise a few All in I like the package, practical, relatively comfortable, frugal when it needs to be and fun when you open the taps.
i have a clio sport for a daily, cheap and reliable good fun!!!
I have a Brabus Smart ForTwo. A giggle some days, a chore most others lol.
Stick some “Go Green” in it, add a couple of green metalflake stripes… oh, and some airjacks!
