Hello all.

I have the OEM seats on my early S2 exige which do not have eyelets in for my harness. I have read around the interwebs ( dangerous ) and discovered that its not really safe to run harness without eyelets in the seats. I fortunately have the regular belt still in place.

I have been looking for replacement seats and discovered in true Lotus fashion that I can spend thousands on a seat.

I am not a skinflint but I have also found that I can spend as little as £150 from people like simplylotus. An example is here :

I appreciate that I would need to have them finished and drilled but I am always sceptical about the cost. Why are they so cheap?

To be completely honest I would not buy a cheap seat, the risk of failure in a crash is just too big, buy reverie or mog

This was my primary concern.

Reverie or Tillet were on my list.

Quite a few people have gone for the Corbeau LE-Pro for Exige/Elise fitment, they’re a bit more reassuringly expensive but still nowhere near the cost of a legit probax item.
