Seat bolts

Guys, after some Info. The bolts that hold our seats Into the S2 Exige. I see that they are colour marked, what is this for, and do they have a certain position at the rear, with that I mean, one that must go at the outside, inside, If you get my drift.
Also, when your fixing the seats back In, do you put loctite on the bolts? When I removed them, all the bolts were rather slack, so I was thinking, either they do come loose frequent, or they just were not torqued up correctly. I suppose It is a worry with them, that they could actually be stripped, and then your in the Poo. Cos lets face It, so much you do to the Exige involves having to remove the seats.
I was thinking to apply some Loctite to them, but just wish to check before I do, encase this is a big No No.

Also rather than starting another thread. Has anyone wired in another 12 V extension for running Sat Nav’s and Cam’s?

Cheers
Paul

I brought some nice shiny new bolts and used Loctite. My seats have been in and out more times than me

That would be not a bad Idea mate getting some new bolts. Do you have a link to where you purchased them and what the sizes of the rear ones are. I am happy with the fronts, just the rears.

I use a shop just down the road and changed them like for like I’m afraid. Plenty of places on the net though, the below link will help otherwise…

Easy to thread so try to start them in by hand. Long time since I did mine but I thought they were slightly different bolts one side to other??? ( the pictures on deroure may say)
I used medium strength thread lock

Thanks guys.

Got some here: Postage was more than the bolts.lol. They seem very reasonable in price this mob.
