LOL, You canāt do anything these days without getting spotted.
A friend of ours had a son that died some years ago of systic fybrosis (excuse spelling). I never knew Jay, but his father Rod is a good friend. Wayne and Chris and my other mates went to school with Jay.
As Jay was such a petrol head and loved RWYB days, Rod gets everyone together once a year and we all go to a RWYB day and have a bit of a laugh in Jays honour.
So I thought I would take the Exige along for a bit of a laugh. I was quite suprised at how well it did actually, with nothing more, than an old spangled set of 48ās and the wing off. There is SOOOOOO a 10 second time in it, I just need a bit more practice!!!
Was dead chuffed to be the quickest 4 cylinder car of the day, especially as I had about the smallest turbo in the paddock and most of the other stuff was 4wd!!
So with a bit more practice (read here āa bit more boostā) I will be living my life āten seconds at a timeā!!!
Wayne get the pic of that truck up, i canāt see it when I click the link. It was mental!!!
Seanā¦
Steve Bicknal is my drag racing alter ego!!!
Saw the pictures on Waynes Facebook page and wondered if it was recent, amazingly their website had the results.
This is the Pick-Up.
Nice sunstrip
Oh alright, you can have a sunstrip if you want one ben!
Could you maybe make the font a bit bigger though

You got a cracked screen then, Ben?
Nah just offered to fly the flag for JSR and do my bit to support the lads given the effort theyāve put into the car this year. I would naturally miss my exiges.com strip thoughā¦
Just downloaded the data log from yesterday and have some more real world times for the car.
0 - 60mph - 3.56 seconds
0 - 100mph - 7.44 seconds
0 - 130mph - 11.3 seconds
And just for Frank: 15mph - 110mph - 7.6 seconds
All measured using my AIM GPS based data logger. Graphs available for any non believers.
Quite chuffed. We might actually put a bit of thought in and actually have a proper try next time. Try and get a sub 3 to 60 and a sub 7 to 100!!
Oh and a 10 second qtr with Neons!!!
Mate, you HAVE to take me out at Oulton !
Very good results Sean.
Top stuff, boyz
Blimey Sean that is pretty damn brisk - top job from you and your team
Cheers guys!!!
No worries Dave.
Iām finally getting it mapped properly on Monday, as it maxed out Dave Walkers rollers a couple of years ago, so has never been mapped over 1.7 bar of boost.
