Got the car two weeks ago, but then lent it to Goodwood for the FoS last weekend so this week will be the first time I get to drive it properly and also get a chance to get rid of some of the first 600 miles running in.
Taking the car to the Ace Cafe Monday night and the Seloc Jovial Sailor Surrey meeting on Thursday
Petrolhead Nirvana night at the Ace Cafe tonight from 6 p.m. onwards. Lots of interesting cars usually on display…
I doubt that any will get more attention than your Scura though!
That depends if their’s a nice S1 there
I imagine the Scura will have many fingerprints by the end of the night
Won’t have as many as it had after Goodwood FoS last weekend!
It is actually very easy to clean the glove black" paint as you just wash it with in my case a jetwash, then chamois it dry.
Any other marks you use the special “scouring pad”
plus some Go Foam, a soft cloth and finally some ArmourAll and another soft cloth.

The problem with the hose was one of the aircon pipes and managed to unclip itself and was catching on the alternator pulley so it had deposited the aircon gas and the oil onto the alternator belt plus the rubber of the hose was causing the smoke.
Car is booked in for its 1,000 mile service plus fixing a few niggles so this has been added to the list.
