Does anyone know if you can get a left hand drive car on the scrapage scheme…something petrol/Auto 15k 307/Focus/Golf like?

The big thing is that name on the V5 of the new car must be the same as the name on the car being scrapped. LHD / RHD doesn’t really come into. Also old needs to be roadworthy - i.e MOT at point of ordering and not expired that much before the new one is delivered (cant remember off the top off my head the time).
Drop me a pm with what it is your thinking and I’ll ask the guys that have created our scrappage programme the question, but personally I can’t see an issue provided the car being scrapped is UK registered and the v5 is in the name of the person buying the new one.
