UldisAs Steve says, it’s a bloody long way for you!However, it’s a very pleasant part of the world, with the Snowdonian mountains for a backdrop. It’s well worth a visit in it’s own right.If possible, I would suggest that you set off on Thursday, arrange an overnight stop, & arrive in Anglesey Friday morning for a mooch round! Uldis, the Knockhill Lotus day is meant to be happening on Wednesday 28th August (not September) - next week!. I passed your name along with Mike, Dave and mine a few weeks ago to Tut who had originally been trying to organise something. I believe it will be an OLC day with Lotus personnel in attendance, including factory instructors. All day event and circa �100. That’s all I know at the moment. Copy of an Email from Tut today re: 28th August @ Knockhill."As the Lotus day is a definite GO, I need to get confirmed places fromScottish_Elisers.The format is going to be a full day from 0900-1900, lunch included, andwe will have the full facilities of KH at our disposal. It will be an open pit lane, and for those that fancy it, the Quad bikesand 4x4’s will also be available.Lotus OLC will be coming up with 2x111S S2’s with instructors, I believeMurray’s will also have a demo car there, and the KH instructors willalso be available for free personal instruction.Murray’s will be inviting existing customers along, probably those thathave not taken part in, or seen a trackday before, and also potentialnew customers. I suspect most of those will probably go out aspassengers with us, as opposed to taking their cars out.Lotus only have around six cars interested from below the border, and Ithink we really need a good 50 for an all day event, plus it will sharethe cost out. I don’t know what my final allocation of places will be,but I do not think there will be a problem with the 25 I have so far.On that basis, I have enclosed the list of those that said that theywould like to attend, so could the S_E’s on the list please e-mail meoff line at [email protected] with a definite yes or no.
