I’ve been quoted 400 for a pair of Schroth harnesses when supplied as an official Lotus part. This seemed quite steep so I looked a bit further afield. I struggled to find many UK suppliers and there’s always the issue about belt length, correct fittings etc.
I came across a Californian company specialising in Eliese/Exiges called Sector 111 (http://sector111.com). They will sell a pair for around 300, inclusive of their own custom fitting kit and shipping to the UK. Their fitting kit allows the standard three point belts to be retained - Nobles are usually supplied like this and the choice can be handy. They also have a natty ‘How to fit them’ video on their web site.
The shipping cost element was circa 50 - it may be possible to choose a lower cost carrier and get the lot under 300.
Has anyone used Sector 111 or their harness fitting kit?
I’ve used them for one bit I couldn’t get in Europe and the courier gave me the bill for the duty and VAT, it adds almost 25% to the total… might be easier getting them in the UK afterall…
John at Specialist Cars of Malton does good deals on them for Porsches, might be worth looking him up.
I got a pair from gprdirect.com for about 280 delivered. They were ordered at the Autosport show so you may have to pay a bit more, but it should still be an ok price. The push button release isn’t on the website, but from the box the ref. numbers are; model code SCH200071,
Profi II-FE ASM Harness SS Black San on, Order No, 2729 GRN No 4979. From memory i’m not sure if there a left and right hand model.
