Guys,
Having done a quick search of the forum, I failed in my quest to find out how a Schroth 5th point (anti submarining) attaches to a S1 Exige. I intend to purchase a couple from MSAR, (unless anyone has spares), but need to know what hardware to purchase as well.
Your help and guidance are appreciated.

Or you have to bolt a bar under the seat as per the Lotus sport solution - I have a pic of that somewhere as well
Any pictures would be appreciated Andy. Thanks for the link, but it mentions compatibility with the S2, would it suit the S1? Of course I’d confirm with MSAR prior to purchase.
Don’t you need a seat with a hole in the bottom to fit a 5th (and maybe 6th) strap ?

Im using that kit in my Audi S1 with Tillet B5 seats.
The S1 Motorsport seats have the hole for the crotch straps …
My motorsport seats have a slot and a bar for the 5th strap.
BUT before you buy think carefully about where the crunch will come if the worst happens!!!
My racecar has 6 pionter and it gives one rather more confidence to know the wedding tackle is less likely to get mashed in the event of an accident.( there is a rather graffic photograph somewhere on the MSAR site showing the results . [ some viewers may fint the images distressing![)
Check out a 6 pointer first…I can asure you, you wont want the 5 er…
It’s mainly for our Daughter, so no worries about the 5th point! As mentioned there is already a slot in the seat base to allow the use of a 5th point

Just a general point but make sure the angles of any belts fall within the zones published by the manufacturers. Also consider the reduction in loading of any fixing as the angle gets more acute.
