Ive been given a scan guage II as my brother no longer uses it, however it does not work on my S2 S, all i get is a message saying connecting and then nothing.
So has anyone used one of these on their S2?

Your ignition has to be on. My OBD tool takes a while to connect.
It can be fully on i.e. car running or just tuned to 3 for it to apparantly work.
Ive not tried disconnecting the battery yet tho as may be worth a try.
Incase anyone is wondering then it appears the scangaugeII is not compatable, done plenty of searching on lotustalk and lots of people have hd the same issue as me.
