Just finished stage one of setting up my Scalextrix ready for Xmas - now I know why I only put it up once a year !!!
Anyone else still got the Scalextric bug ???

Yeah I’ve always loved it too - now the cars are digital and you can race 6 on the same lane it’s even better
I’ve got over 40 cars of all shapes and sizes - F1, GT etc 
Annual Christmas event for me and my nephew 
Each year the track gets more and more elaborate !
New cars grip like hell with the magnets but old ones are great for power sliding
Mind you I work with a guy who belongs to a race club and I couldnt believe how serious they take it - tyres, motors etc 
A couple of years ago I was gonna throw out my old
007 Scalextric set …
Good job I didn’t cos I put an ad on eBay and got over 600 quid for it !!
