Ok, so whos lucky enough to have one and whos helpful enough to let me have a passenger ride?
I’ve an NA S2 Exige for commuting and a 200bhp westfield for trackdays. I’m interested in selling both and getting a SC Honda powered S1 Exige, and a cheap commuter car.
They seem quite rare and i’ve seen nothing for sale recently which is already converted. So I will be considering getting a std S1 Exige and getting the conversions done, but would like to confirm its what i want. Is it going to be as much fun as the westy?
I’m just South West of Birmingham by junction 3 of the M5 and your quite welcome to pop over for a drive … however not this week because I’m out in Sydney
So Dave can you import an already converted S1 into Aus ? I guess only as a pure track car …
Maybe not comparing like with like, but I stopped tracking my 190 VHPD S1 Exige in favour of a 130HP Caterham Superlite because the latter is so much more “fun”.
The Exige is a great car on the track and really rewards you if driving smoothly and consistently is the goal; but you can do the same in a caterham as well as hooning in a very light car with a super slick 6 speed gearbox.
I’d be very interested to hear your opinions after trying both.

Have a look at Christians (Quo) post HERE
Think it may be of interest and will probably save you quite a bit of money over starting from scratch.
