This is my first winter with my S2 Exige and was wondering how prone to corrosion its going to be with these nasty gritters out and about, I think most cars get some sort off underseal? Do lotus do this or is it best to keep it hidden?

Have a good search of the S2 section.
Aluminium/fibre glass means an Exige/Elise is not built like most cars. Worry more about the steel nuts.

The corrosion protection on the wishbones is sh!te. Coat them with POR15 if you can. I was going to have all mine sandblasted, re-plated and then powdercoated but its a bit sick just now…
mine lives outside and i use it all year and the only thing ive needed is a new front grill. Was a clam off job but obviously got done under warranty.

Whats POR 15 when its at home
I would do it if i knew what it was…
POR15 is actually a range of products which are available from www.frost.co.uk
I think the one to go for is “rust prevention paint” but “chassis coat black” is also good stuff.
