I’ve heard nowt. If I were to speculate though, there won’t be an S3 Exige/Elise for a few years (odd updates/special editions will no doubt continue though), as Lotus is reliant on the Evora being a success - & that is somewhat worrying, given the current economic climate.
I’m sure others will have some opinions to offer, too
With all the work going on developing the Evora, and the new ‘Esprit’ due sometime after that, I recon a replacement Elise/Exige will hardly make the business plan at Hethel just now.
3000 cars/year is about all the capacity at Lotus, & the mere mention of assembly elsewhere is taboo (with the buying punters). Don’t hold your breath
Don’t hold your breath
No need to as I am totally happy with my S1!!!
The Evora/factory have gone very quiet, after the launch was expecting more from the factory, especially on up-dates/revisions etc

I’m guessing it’s going to lap Hethel in minus figures.

To keep the car in the public’s eye, and on the old saying ALL publicity is good publicity.
How many on here have forgotton the launch day of the Evora…
Before the launch we had news letters every 3-4 weeks.
Probably not helped by the overwhelming sigh of disappointment by Lotus fans.

You big cynic! We all know it’ll be 2secs quicker than the S2.
