Silkolene Pro S 5W-40 is that correct ?

That’s what I have been using for about a year. Quite a few of the cars doing the LoT series will be using it. Very good stuff in terms of handling high oil temps on track. Usually available as a “deal” through oilman on Seloc.
Lotus recommend Texaco Havoline 5W40 but to be honest its fairly boring off the shelf cheapo OEM fill stuff quite often used by eastern OEMs.
I’ll be using Silkolene Pro S 5W40 when (if) I ever get my car back!
Yep, Texaco 5-40FS is used by a number of manufacturers as OE oil, including Ford. As a Ford ‘mature pensioner’(pc) I can buy the fully synthetic at �14/5 litres and change every couple of thousand!
