Anyone know where this wing comes from? I see the Plans Motorsport windshield banner but didn’t find any info on their website.
Regards,
Chris

Yep, that’s from Plans - send an email to Graham for details of the wing & brackets
it will be about $2250 due to our strong atm
I think I have said it before, but that wing really look good on the S2, so much so its makes the car start to look like a proper Exige (runs to hide…)
Think it would look better still if it were mounted with the strut mounts at either end into the clam rather than on the engine cover…

But then you wouldn’t be able to open the engine cover… I went through the same thoughts when I had one fitted.

Kurt…that looks great over your yellow car!..graham told me he was really happy with the cage in yellow…are you happy with the cage and the cut offs?
Firstly I must take some pictures so you can all see how good the work was on the cage and race prep by plans on the 240R.
The cage fits into the car so much better than the offical Lotus one, it makes no difference to how easy it is to get in and out of the car and doesn’t bash about you lid when driving on track.
The cut out’s and fire system have gone in very neatly and we used the Cup external mounts so it didn’t look too tacked on the car.
Just waiting for the LSD to be delivered and the rear alloy bells so I can fit better rear discs now.
Is the wing stable or wobbly like the std one?
I know most movement comes from the engine lid, so how is this addressed. Thanks
The gas struts are removed from the engine cover and I’ve got a couple of extra catches to lock it solidly in place.
The wing itself is fully adjustable and with lots of wing set in the wet you can really feel the difference to rear grip. I’ve dropped my car right down ride height wise which helps the under floor areo work a bit better. To balance it out I’m fitting a proper splitter to the front.
which splitter ?
Making it… doesn’t seem there is a proper on available at the moment, so a sheet of carbon later it will be sorted!
Talk to Maddog of you need something made up.
BTW Kurt, are you planning to do some of the LoT series races then?
Stereo on, aircon cooling me… at least I’ll be comfy at the back in my lardy car if I do give it a go…
Just going to watch the first couple of rounds to see if it’s a demolition derby, if it’s well mannered then I think it would be rude not to dust off the license and give the car an outting now it’s race legal…
That’s pretty much the way I am doing things.
BTW, if you want an avatar for exiges:

Thanks for the picture!!!
Yeah, the first round should be interesting to watch I think!
I am so praying that there is not a pile of twisted fibreglass at the bottom of Paddock Hill bend about 20 seconds after the lights.
Is there a better way to get a hold of Graham than through Plans Motorsport. Emailed them but no reply yet.
Since I’m new maybe he already answered one question and I didn’t know it.
