i can’t seem to find many images at all of s1’s with racing stripes. is this an extra weight issue??

if any one has any good photos could i request they post please.

i am painting the s1 and am tempted to go with the club racer colour scheme, but not 100% it will suit the shape of the s1.

thanks - i’m still not sure this scheme will suit the curvier s1. possibly if i black the light surrounds it would be closer.

And sorry Ben but its a been a bit wet downunder and it is possible to get your car that dirty - so another trip over the bridge to the Crystal car wash Cafe for a breakfast and wax for me

Car Wash Cafe - now that sounds like a concept that could work…I could quite happily tuck into a Full English/Aussie while someone else gets busy with the Wonder Wheels.

No one drive it yet … it was sans clams while have the CC fitted.

Staying metallic black … Martin and Steve will have it to finsih off end of month I hope ! And Im back for a day or so so hope to see what its like

Let us know when that day is as I’m going to have to get up there at some point too to retrieve my car.

I really don’t want to pax in your CC motor though as the last thing I need is to have my “Fast Exige” reference point reset again. Christian’s just had the CC fitted too…oh bugger its only a matter of time til I’m exposed to its charms

Well, he is very short . Mine is the car in front and they were parked there like that, in Northern France, for several hours. As far as I know they are both the same size but I see what you mean!

By the way, my car is in this thread legitimately for two reasons: 1. It does have stripes, albeit coachlining, mainly on the rear decking and 2. Stripe is my name so my car is always with Stripes!
