Hi all,

I remember watching Top Gear back in 2000 or thereabouts and I remember seeing Tiff do an article on Top Gear about the S1 Exige.

I’ve had a look around the usual places (Google, Youtube) but I can’t seem to find a copy of this. Does anyone remember seeing it or does anyone have a copy they could host up?

I seem to remember Tiff saying he couldn’t see the point of the Exige on the road as it was no faster in real terms than an Elise and it was hotter/noisier, but that it was definitely a good drive on track.

I think it was Anthony who put it up in YouTube a couple of months ago, but it got taken off after a bit due to copyright breaches or the like.

I know its not what you were looking for in particular, but there is a good piece done by Jason plato hooning in an S1 - anyone found that?

Hehe, I didn�t realize that last time a watched it �Lotus demand nearly 33k for an Exige�… just thought that was kinda clever.

my pleasure - maybe we meet sometime in NZ… Have been there twice, driving a '79 Mercedes and a 85 Toyota pickup and every kilometer I was soooo sad I could not do all these fantastic corners in a Lotus Great country and fantastic roads! (but too expensive to ship my car from Europe to NZ and back…)

And you can rent Lotuses now in NZ I think Roger at Lotus NZ rents an Elise S, an Exige and a EuropaS

ok will do that next year haven’t seen much from AKL and nothing of the northland yet. Have spent most of my time in Waiheke, Wellington, Nelson, Motueka and Westport. Sorry to be a bit off topic now
