I’ve had the privilege of driving all three over the last couple of days.
And I have to say, we are so fortunate to experience these incredible machines. It’s been fascinating to be able to compare the many similarities & differences. Wouldn’t know where to begin if I had to chose a favourite, they all have their own distinct merits.
They do have a special DNA that I’ve not seen in other cars.
Just wish I could justify/afford one of each
Can’t wait to drive an S3… none in NZ yet
S1 and S3 is just fine on the driveway
Only have a fake S1 but I agree that these cars are something special.
Order one then George!
Sale or return!
They are bloody quick…
… but I thought the clutch was too heavy… the pedal effort was not balanced in the same way as the S1 is. That spoilt it for me.
The Evora isn’t too shabby either…

Agreed mate!
Indeedy, they’re great cars for sure But would I buy one myself - I doubt it?
Mine has proven to have zero depreciation as I have yet to sell it
Mine has proven to have zero depreciation as I have yet to sell it
Yours has proven to have zero depreciation as you have yet to sell it
His has proven to have zero appreciation as he has yet to buy it!

I’ve been appreciating them since trying to keep up with one on a Chatsworth run last month

I was out with the Essex Lotus boys from Seloc at the weekend and we had the company of a S3 along with us on the day, sounded amazing with the full Larini system!
I thought only ‘Essex Girls’ went out topless!

Not seen one in a lairy colour yet, but from photos the S3 doesn’t seem to suit the oranges/yellows quite as much as the S1/S2 cars.
I probably need to see a few more.
Has anyone tracked an S3 yet? I heard some slightly negative feedback regarding consumption of tyres & pads. Any thoughts?

More power and more weight = more tyres and more pads

I agree, you would expect as much. But the feedback I had was quite excessive!
The S3 isn’t that much heavier or more powerful than a tweaked S2 is it?
