S1 or S2 seats

So last summer I made a try with my Sparco evo seat to fit it in the Exige. It slides in very well after I trimmed the edges of. Unfortunately I can’t sit in it with my 6.4" Don’t understand why. If the seat is thicker or just the angle of the back is steeper  don’t know but my head is for sure against the roof.

Was a comfy sit though so very disappointed. The side support would have been amazing on track.

So now looking at other options for a daily usable seat. The standard ones are ok, but give me to little side support both at hip height and shoulder height.

Are the original sport seats better? Are they still available?
Has anybody installed S2 Exige seats in the S1? How are they? I read on Seloc its possible. They look good too
Any other giants out there? What do you use?

The hangar111 and eliseparts one look so so to me.

I’m about 6’ and the s1 sport seats fit me in comfortably with helmet no worries with miles to spare. Mind you, I’ve got long legs and a short torso (supermodel proportions )

I’m 6’2" and 88kg so if that is similar to your frame this might be of help:

The original S1 motorsport seats in mine hurt my coccyx bone. I know it’s been noted by others before but I never gave it much thought until I had my car. If your frame/body props are similar to mine I would avoid them and get an S2 probax or something else.

I have done long journeys in a MOG carbon seat in a DAX rush/Seven and despite absolutely no padding in that seat it is comfortable and gives great support.

As mentioned, “original” Motorsport seats are very expensive (if they ever appear for sale).
Can imagine S2 Sports seats are cheap either?? Suspect you wouldn’t see much change from 1500 there either.

Hanger111 seems to be the best option, 470 per seat so reasonably priced and can be trimmed to your spec. Its the option I’ll be plumping with, mainly because I want to keep it as ‘original’ as possible.
