S1 Oil Grade

Hi All,

New member here having just made the switch to an S1.

I’m trying to learn as much as I can about the car but I have read a few different things about what oil to use. So far I have seen, 5w50, 10w50 and lotus Silverstone said 10w60.

What’s the consensus on the best one for the K Series ?

I’ve always used either 10w50 or 10w60 fully synthetic from a reputable manufacturer/supplier.

Same here, i use the Castrol 10W60 with the BMW M clearance for the Exige and the two Ms
