How difficult is the S1(k-series,of course!)exhaust manifold to remove,bearing in mind that I will be doing it with the car on ramps on my own.I,m getting a spare powder-coated.Happy Noo Year to everyone,particularly you Graham-hope to meet up soon!

It isn’t a hard job, but it is fiddly. The heat shield can be a bugger to get around and the alternator is in the way. If you have an AC car, then that makes it harder still.

I think Dave was getting it coated by Zircotec not sure what colour he went for in the end though but look forward to seeing it
That now appears to be the coating of choice.
Going to be Zircotec when I get round to it and,B**ger, mines got air-con.
