S1 Immobiliser Bypass

Good start to 2011 Exige won’t start :frowning:

Went for a 150 mile run on Weds - absolutely perfect  - parked up - not a glimmer of a fire up today, engine turns over.

Before I get the spanners out tomorrow I thought I would ask how you bypass the immobiliser as this may be the cause.

Cheers

I’m Only in Hull and have a byepass connector block I use for my own race cars etc, Available to borrow if it helps.

Cheers chaps - will find out tomorrow the error of its ways

Love this site - everybody is soooo helpful

Give all the sensors/relays/fuses a “wiggle”, especially those in the panel behind the seats.

Good luck, buddy.

Cheers Rob - can’t beat a decent wiggle

Cheers chaps - now fixed - turned out to be a chaffed wire to Crank angle sensor

EFA

No wonder the k was reluctant to start with that seriously challenged couple chaffing about under the polycarbonate cover

got to hate a bit of chaffing :astonished: glad it is fixed though

“Chaffing” ? Isn’t that what Planes use to avoid missiles??
