Not decided yet but I am considering selling ‘Shrek’ as I rarely get an opportunity to get him out for a run.

I guess most will know or have seen the car, but in summary a fully spec’d original Exige S1.

Only mods which can be reverted to original are

Sadly it has become a bit of garage queen and only comes out on days when there isn’t a hint of rain.
There is a well-documented thread on both SELOC and Pistonheads covering the painting & re-trimming, which was at a cost of almost £8k and included comprehensive paint protection film so no stone chips at all. Lots of documentation with all MOT’s, Tax Disks etc.

Needless to say such mint original S1’s are going to be rare, so I would be looking at a price in the region of £35k.(plate not included)

For interest the Yellow S1 that was on pistonheads with the poor advert @25000 miles has been sold to a dealers in Oxfordshire. They are refreshing its paint and its being listed at £36k which makes yours a bargain. But to all the other comments, its a genuinely stunning car, even if as a garage queen - keep it!

I have been lucky enough to drive the car on track. It is indeed a superb example of an original Exige in every way it performs. :sunglasses:

You did it then… That is the sweetest Exige out there. I wouldn’t sell, but absolutely best of luck with the sale. If you fancy a Colbalt one, I’m up for a swap!

Yeah though I would try an ad but really not bothered if I have to keep it tucked up in the garage with the dehumidifier :slight_smile:

Not sure how I am feeling but today the 1st person to view Shrek has put a deposit down, just need to get my plate onto a retention.

Christine says Shrek has a tear in his headlamp cover :frowning:

I personally hadn’t doubted you’d sell, it’s a stunning car. Whoever buys is getting a really special car. Wouldn’t blame you if you kept it however!
