Do we think the bubble has burst on the classic car market? And maybe the S1 Exige market?
Just saw the chassis number 1 Exige didn’t sell at the auction, the same S1 Exiges seem to still be for sale?
A lot of the Classic British cars did not sell at the auction either, has the bubble burst? Or do you need to be in a classic Porsche or Ferrari to be safe?
I don’t think the bubble has burst but it does look like the market is slow. The S1 Exige is a very specialist car and many people are not aware of them and would not tolerate what makes them special, that will always make them slow sellers. I also think prices are a bit enthusiastic in some cases. I think 40k is a good price for a good car with the right colour and options (sports seats and carbon airbox). I’m pleased the prices are not going bonkers, that’s why I’m using mine more and booked it onto a track day (which I did not do as the ht lead failed).

Same here 40k£ is the good price, mode is difficult
