Hardly surprising given all the clamour - I wonder if it’s possible to get a bargain online now.
A useful benefit was that the previous owner popped his head up and the history of the car - including the reason for the engine refresh at 22k (ran the engine dry of oil at a trackday) - all came to light.
It was in the Seloc thread about the car advert, & the “previous owner” was the chap who owned it before the guy recently advertising the car.
There was no explanation as to why there was a shortage of oil when the engine blew. It could have been due to lack of attention by the owner, or maybe the engine started to burn an excess oil during the trackday.
