OK… so I got my exige back with a Honda conversion a week or so ago and we’ve already been to a wet ring and a damp Silverstone - and I love it.
The only thing that is really bothering me is that now the airbox isn’t providing a barrier between the engine bay and the boot, things are liable to jump into a now much less crowded engine bay, or onto the rather hot manifold if I’m not careful.
Has anyone rigged up some sort of full height barrier between the engine bay and the boot area… anyone got any pics?
Using a good “sports bag”, I’ve never had any issues in this respect. In fact, just done a 2 week trip to France, with sports bag/rucksack/warning triangle etc, safe & sound in the boot area.
