remember guys…if u were to ever own a cat d lottie u would want one with the correct damage, ie so it can be repaired. mine is such a car. easy propper repair. no dodgey welds or damage to the chassis. litterally all i had to do was wheels and rear sub frame (bolt on / off). as u can see from the pics and doc i did a hell of a lot more. i would not have ploughed this much time effort and money into a car which could be past repair. thanks andy 07746132530…no rush yet as happy to keep till xmas and will propperly put up for sale on pheads etc at end of oct. xx

If it was an Exige, you’d be looking at �18-20k with the right buyer.
As it is not, and its CatD, even with perfect repairs I think you would get around �13k, maybe less.
Lots of people will tell you its worth more, but its the the people who actually buy them that decide the price!
Obviously all in my own humble opinion.

an exige with my spec…inc new everything! would easy see 22 maybe 24k
and that 13k was without seeing the car…he just offered a trailor to be sent etc with cash.
You should have been snapping arms off for offers of 18k. Hope you got their number to call them back!
Also dont get the asking for values on opinions then disagreeing when its not enough? Stick a decent ad on PH for what you think its worth and if someone buys it, great, if not, you priced it too high…

In the Lotus section, the cars that sell, especially the private seller ones are the ones that are pretty cheap.
For example 1yr ago I sold my mint Exige S, just over a year old for �24.5k. Today I think �24.5k would get you an Exige S PP about a year old, but people still put them up for sale at >�30k.
There are massive differences bewteen ‘For sale’ prices and ‘Sold’ prices at the moment.
PS - for �18k you should have had that guys arm off, I beleive having ‘Exige’ on the V5 is massively valuable, I’m sure your car is a right minter and I’d love to have it if I was in the position to buy at the moment
