I have been trying to find out what colours the Exige was sold in for the UK, so far this is what I have managed to find, I need to work out how I can split the others out.

As a matter of interest, are those SMMT figures? If not, whose please?

That doesn’t look right to me - mine is Azure Blue and is a 2000 car.

You’ll be in the “others”, mate. “Blue” could mean Laser Blue, or Cobalt Blue…

Hence my question of whose figures are they?. :wink:

I will try to get a image up on the web so the formating is correct, at the moment 2 0 is (2 in 2001) and (0 in 2000).

I am not sure of the system, I have only just started to use it and it is a case of GIGO. After Chritmas I may be able to make more sense of it.

The best way to find this out would be from the Lotus Build cards, but I am not sure if Lotus would ever release these.

Mine’s “grey” and was a 2001 Reg. But who knows, could be an “other” too :stuck_out_tongue:

It was orange and from seeing it close up at Croft,it was very nice aswell

Yeah mine was Chrome Orange originally, then it went a sort of modern version of the old Repsol colours, then matt balck (hated it like that), then Alfa Red. Love it now, it will be staying red for the forseable.

PS In response to your comment, there is a lot of crap wine about, from many countries, but you can still buy reasonably priced good stuff (well under �10). I’m no expert, but over the past 12 months or so I’ve bought a few “mixed cases” from a well known supplier, which have been good quality/value @ around �6 a bottle delivered.

According to the survey responses…

70 people have told me the colour of their car when new. New Aluminium is by far the most prevalent but here is the table from the survey results:

If this is representative then it is probably safe to extrapolate these numbers against the full production of 601 to get an idea of how many of each in total which is what I have done in brackets (rounded down throughout so I know it only adds up to 594!)…

It can’t be enirely accurate, of course because it is extrapolated from what I know. For example there must have been some white ones??? but no-one has reported one to the survey. Perhaps we can say:

Others 7 to make up the 601.
