This looks really great! I will be replacing the rusty looking one now! By the way, it is an optical illusion… the rivets are fine but good spot!

Whilst deep cleaning in the ‘engine room’, I noted, having pulled out the sound baffled foam from on top of the aluminium storage tray area behind the air box, that this appears to be attached to a thin mild steel plate running across the full width of the boot!

Horrors of, but it is RUSTY!

Any history in any threads of this… as this needs to be replaced!!! (YUK!)
