In tha absence of data how does the car feel? Was it worth the money!?!Mike

The engine revs very freely, even at standstill in neutral (but you already know that!). There is no “jerkiness” when applying/lifting off the throttle when on the move - i.e. it is very pleasant to drive around town too! The clutch is perhaps very slightly a little heavier, but is smooth in operation & bite - which when coupled with the free revving engine makes it a joy to drive.Russ also forgot to mention that he has fitted Geary’s Nylatron engine & suspension bushes.(I also have the former, & vastly improves how the car feels from in the cockpit - the engine really feels to be solidly mounted to the chassis, & the gear change is also improved). Again the suspension felt to be more firmly “bolted on” - this would probably be even more apparant in track conditions, rather than on my drive 12 mile drive on M way & A roads.Worth the money - difficult one that, & to some extent, subjective. Personally, if I were looking to get some more “umph”, I would first go for the EBD exhaust (if air con was not important) & the Emerald ECU. I would then do the head, cams & pistons as one mod later on. Again, on a personal level, I’m sure that I would be faster on track, if I could hustle me mota through the corners quicker, rather than having some extra poke along the straights! I need more tutition from the likes of Hyla & Tony, before spending money improving my car so it’s capabilities are even greater than my own.Hope this helps (a bit anyway!)& see you next Friday in Arnage - don’t forget your mobile [image]http://www.exiges.com/ubb/NonCGI/images/icons/grin.gif[/image]

Apart from the big hole you can feel in your bank balance, I do not think that there are any downsides, Mike.It now feels taut thru the steering, and gives a better impression of what is happening to the tyres. The engine is torquier further down the revs, but still pulls very well right to 8000. I can now cruise at 30 in 4th, or kick the rear out at will, making it a bigger challenge on circuit. In short, it feels more like a track car for the road, rather than the other way around.
