Just picked up my exige, how long should i run it in for?

Bell & Colvill said 4000rpm should be okay. I am running at varying rpms between 3000 and 4000 and not using the throttle too hard for the first 1000 miles (when it’ll get the 190 treatment!).Does that sound worrying to anybody?
