Seven months in I’m really at home with it.
It is quite rough and ready at times with power delivery in “sport” mode, rather like the Exige in the delivery. Not smooth but loads of character.
Despite the big V8 capacity it can sound quite frenzied at times even below rev limit.
Must scare the hell out of people pootling along as I go past.
One day I’ll grow up.
Can you switch the popping and banging off from the exhaust? I went for the BMW 340 estate as it does not pop and bang and I have early starts and neighbours. Mind you, over the road has just got a AM DB9 and that’s very antisocial at 5am.
Sounds a lot of daily fun that Steve. I really enjoyed my B7.
I’ve totally gone the other way now though, I’m the guy you’ll probably overtake pottering around in my Q7.
You only get the full orchestra in Sport mode so it’s pretty restrained in ordinary Drive which is the default.
