RS14 Pad Transfer

I have always used Pagid RS42’s but having ridden in a few peeps cars with RS14’s I must say the initial ‘bite’ seems a lot better.

I need to replace mine soon and was wondering if I should just stay with the 42’s or go to the 14’s?

But I have been put off by the stories of RS14 pad transfer that has knackered peeps expensive rotors etc. I did recently hear that this was down to a ‘bad batch’ of RS14’s…???

Is this the case and are RS14’s now a rotor friendly pad again?

Must say the Pagid RS14 knackered my new 295s really quickly.
Performance Friction have cured that but do grab and produce frequent lock ups.

Tried RS14’s twice (3 years apart) and caused pad transfer problems both times.

Now using CL5+ and are very very good. will try CL6 next time.

CL5+ is the pad to have now if you believe everything you read…
