On his 2nd & last lap, Russ posted the fastest laptime in the AMOC Invitation Race last Saturday. Unfortunately, on the 1st lap he lost a bit of the car whilst pottering along in excess of 155mph:

Yes, quite interesting seeing the sky when you expected white glass fibre. It does’nt half bugger up the aero though - Stowe is different when you realise halfway round that there is no downforce from the rear spoiler.
did you manage to pick up all the bits and put it back together russ? have you got a roof and engine cover organised for this weekend?
Its back is broken Dave - I am putting my original one back on for this weekend, don’t know if it is salvageable yet.

No! Anyway, they were specific to Russ’s car, & made out of aluminium sheet, I seem to recall. His car is now repaired, & “as we speak”, it’s about 25 miles from Brands Hatch, where it’s racing this weekend at the DTM meeting.
