Want to get my roof off on my S1 but its tight against the roll-bar.I presume I need to loosen the rear clam bolts.just wondered which ones I need to loosen and where they are.Happy New Year to you all!
I had to take the rear clam off (well move it back six inches) when I recently had to take my roof off 
Would be nice to know if there is a way without doing all that!

You can just about get the roof off with the rear clam in situ.
You need to be a bit brave cos it does sounds horrific. Provided that you undo all the mounting bolts required, plus the top rear clam/inner boot trim fixings so that you can flex the top a bit. Then if you pull the top of the rear clam on one side and slide the roof that way, until it passes the other side, then lift out the other way.
Be really carefull and only pull enough to release the roof. Please dont come to me and say that you’ve ripped your clam off/split your paint though!!
