Roof airscoop extender/ wider?

I’ve seem larger roof scoops available for the S1 cars and looking at the pictures of the GT3 Exige they have a much bigger intake.

As the tiny openning on the 240R is responsible for feeding air to the intercooler it seems sensible to try and feed more air though the duct.

Does anyone know if anything is available for the S2 cars?? Or is this where I buy a GT3 carbon roof panel???

Funny enough was having a chat with Lotus Sport today on this very subject.
Their official line is its a one off. Less official give me a call in March and might be able to help
Other wise believe there a few owners on here baggering Maddog to make one sharpish

are you sure that the revised arrangements actually do that or just change the position that the air is taken from? I would just want to be sure first that there is some sort of quantitative measure before making the mod.

I take it that you will be displaying there then? Might make it worthwhile coming along to have a look.

not confirmed yet but hopefully I’ll be there with a widened s1 elise and an s1 exige and a few s2 exige bits

First of all Hello everyone,

I have visited this site for a long time and it has helped me with my decision making, so thankyou all.

The GT3 roof scoop and indeed all the GT3 bodywork was done by RED motorsport Gmbh, visit their site, i have ordered my car from there and the boss Martin Roos speaks perfect english and is very helpful. Tell him Ian sent you!

I think someone on SELOC has had a Gulf paint job, I saw some photos a while ago but they didn’t look as good as this one.
