this is running the stock ecu at 291HP 200TQ with an almost flat torque curve. current injector sized limited the power.

Is this with the Standard Yota Gearbox?
yep, no problems so far. in its current climate its probably putting out around 320HP at the wheels.
Good stuff Frank and Charlie. What are your thoughts on tuning the UK/European ECU, is it the same as the Federal spec cars. I wondered if the ECU was different because of the smog regs, or the fuels available?
no problems with ROW cars, they’re basically the same, i have already tuned a british S2 thats out here, even replaced it with a federal ecu/tune

Not thought about putting it on a dyno?
Looks, sounds & goes great

How much of power was it putting out at the time that video was made?
car looks and goes great.
charlie, you and ronin have done a great job,
its such a shame that us brits cannot seem to crack our ecu,
a bit of friendly advice would be nice buddy.
how about posting some info so we can get cracking with our conversions,
we tuned the car on a dyno, the reason i said about the power difference is that the FI cars are really limited by heat , i’m in las vegas at 3000ft ( not that high) but much higher in temperatures, down at sea level in california with colder ambient air he’s probably putting down way over 300HP, we were limited at 291HP in las vegas by the injector size.
at the dyno in las vegas we made 291HP at the wheels, it has not yet been dyno’d in california yet.
dunno why the other brits haven’t sorted out the ecu yet, it didn’t take me that long, all the parts i used for tuning that car i figured out a couple of years ago, must be southerners.
here is the dyno sheet from the day before the video was made.
Oh yeah the AF ratio on the dyno are off by a full point due to the fact that we were using a sniffer up the pipe …If you look at the video you can see the wide band reading in the exhaust right after the 4/2/1 collector
Car looks great, bit jealous of your play ground. I just don’t have those kind of roads around me for blast about on.
Congrats on the conversion. Though timing may not be great now for a UK release as we seem to have all sorts of conversions available to those who want it. If only you had this kit ready to ship 9 months ago.
We are lucky out here, you should see the mountains and canyons…oh yeah NO RAIN…
