Is it me or are S2 prices/sales rock solid at the minute?
I have been keeping an eye out for the last year or so and MY2010 shapes are being snapped up as soon as they have been put on sale, the same seems especially true with the RGB although the CUP260’s have been taking a little longer.
Yes prices are pretty strong, and its also worth noting that the shear number available to buy is down on this time last year / year before.
I have a quick look at PH most days, and took note that the amount for sale used to peek at around 80, then drop to around 50, whereas now it seems to be fairly static at around 40cars all year round.
Is this because those people that are loyal to the brand/model aren’t trading them in for a new one - because there isn’t one? Only the release of the S3 will tell if the S2 numbers start going up…

Maybe. At the dealer i am getting my new car from they have customers with S2’s and an S3 on order, or some waiting for Evora
The prices haven’t budged since at least Feb & as you say the market is limited with only 35-40 ever for sale. 260’s command a premium too.
Silverlink Cars have had quite a few Exige and Evoras through their doors this last few months. More than the local dealer in fact by a long way. They certainly don’t appear to hang around for long on the forecourt…
Gav, I was there the other week looking at a 2010 RGB they had (not the one mentioned here)
Rumour has it they about to become the Lotus dealer for the north east ! they are getting all the cars via lotus factory
