In the latest bit of Exige fettling, I have decided to replace the front O/S driving light. I am ashamed to say that during a search on here for information I found that I pledged to replace it in 2015 but clearly I “never got around to it”.
But with Mrs Thommo in full sail on the matter, the part has been ordered (an eye-watering £94.68) from Eliseparts.
Question is: how hard is it to fit? And can it be done without removing the clam?
My earlier search did not return a definitive answer but there were hints that it is a bugger of a job.
Any thoughts, please.

To replace with clam in-situ is indeed rather a faff - rather than explain there is an excellent resume of the technique on SELOC Techwiki page - look under D for Driving Light Replacement. Explained far more eloquently than I could. 
I replaced one back in the day but removed the clam - a doddle with clam off.

Thank you for the tip re Seloc. I might, on reflection, wait till I have some bodywork done which might be best done with clam off. That might make the process easier. And, can I add that Mrs T is also “in full sail“ on the minor bodywork repairs which are also on the “to do list” so it won’t be too long before all is “ship shape” to use another nautical term. When I asked Mrs T why she was so anxious to get all these Exige jobs done when she professes no interest in the car, she said:”I own half of it”
I threatened to don my Kimi Raikkonen T shirt: “Leave me alone. I know what I am doing” but her response is unprintable😳

On a similar tack (keeping the nautical theme going!) redid the will this week so am now sleeping with one eye firmly open to protect my half interests

That’s a very kind offer, Lee, and much appreciated. I’m awaiting a call back from the body shop and plan to get them to do it as the clam may have to come off to repair the oversill which is refusing to budge. So I will see what plan emerges. Thanks again.
