Removing tyres and fitting to new wheels

Hi all,

Can you remove existing tyres from one Set of wheels to fit to another?

I have some r888’s fitted to the standard y spoke rears on my 06 na exige, they have done approx 100 miles. I have just recently bought a set of 240r wheels, I already have some fresh 888s for the fronts. So I’m wondering, seeing as the rears have had such little use why can’t I swap them over?

Giving the car a few improvements for Anglesey, including a 2bular 4-2-1 manifold sold to me by Johnny Fox, can’t wait to get that fitted, cheers again fella!

Nope! it is not possible!, you must send me the 240r wheels straight away and unfortunately go back to your other wheels. :laughing:

Being serious, there is no reason at all why you cannot do this.

Bugger, where should I send them to TC? Haha.

Smashing, cheers for that chaps, wasn’t sure if removing the tyres and refitting would over stretch or stress the tyre.
That’s saved me a few quid.
