Removing Throttle bodies

DVA tells me I will have to remove TBs to fix balance locking screw.
Could someone give me some guidance to the things to watch out for??and the best sequence.

Clive, had mine off a week ago:

Basically you need:

Remove the airbox, probably also helps to remove the boot divider.
Disconnect the IACV hose from the backplate.

There are a couple of coolant hoses underneath the throttles that need removing, these are joined to the TBs by very short lengths of rubber hose… these might be a bit of a prick to get to with the clam on, so you MIGHT get away with leaving them on until the TBs are loose.

Disconnect the throttle cable.

Get an allen key and just unbolt them from the head… 5 bolts on the top and four long ones underneath.

You can do it all with the throttle backplate still in situ.
