Has anyone done theirs in a glossy finish rather than satin?

Yes, the set I currently run are gloss black. They look nice but make the tyres look dull (unless you put stuff on the edges of your tyres)

Mine are gloss black too. I recommend Rimstocks themselves (http://www.rimfurbish.co.uk) as they are effectively remanufactured. I’ve had mine done a couple of times as running PF pads does mess them up a bit but they literally come back like new from Rimfurbish.

Thanks for those pictures, that’s that then I will go gloss and will use rim furbish. Bit more expensive than my local place but that finish is fantastic, you get what you pay for.
